Dr Ally Namangaya is Fully Registered Town Planner with the Town Planners Registration Board (TPRB); holds a PhD from Technical University of Dortmund (2010); Msc in Urban and Regional Development Planning and Management (2002 – 2004) from Technical University of Dortmund and University of Dar es Salaam, and a Bsc in Urban and Rural Planning (2001). Moreover he has undertaken a number of researches, consultancies and published in the above areas, he is currently Dean in a School of Spatial Science and Social Sciences of the Ardhi University. Moreover, Dr Namangaya is a member of Spring International Association of Development Planners (SIADP) - Germany; member of Association for Biosphere Reserve Research and Communication Research Greifswald-Germany; member of Tanzania Association of Town Planners
